Pardon my ignorance, is the welding done with TIG or MIG?
This was all tig work. The stainless is .065” thick, I used solar B flux on the inside of the pipe so I didn’t have to back purge the pipe with argon. Took a while to get the hang of doing stainless again as it doesn’t like heat, but you need enough to get a good weld. Thin stainless is trickier to weld then aluminum I think.
I just use a old miller dial arc that doesn’t have any fancy options like the newer inverter machines.
