SC WI | I am probably not much help, but it depends on the other equipment besides the planter, like your cornhead, side dresser, striptiller, and so on. A 24 row will make your existing equipment compatible. A 16 row might make it a challenge, unless your planting straight rows.
Edit to add: just saw your list, sounds like either 16/24 will work. I would probably be looking at both and whichever one you can get a better buy on/setup how you want/aftermarket goodies, would be the one I would go with.
