Yes, they made both. The regular 181 is the same as a M&W where the wheels slightly intersect. On the MT the wheels run totally separate from each other. The MT will run with a rootball or rock wedged in between the spikes vs stopping 2 wheels on the regular. Downside is on the MT you lose the cleaning action of the opposite wheels "wiping" each other. The MT does tend to wrap up with grass worse if you let it run into a headland or waterway. Also, you lose down pressure due to the leverage the wheel has being back farther.

Edit to add: We have 3 different styles, JD 400, M&W, and 181MT. If low residue I like the JD the best. If high residue the M&W. The 181MT we can't seem to get to work as well, even with new wheels, new springs would possibly help.
