NW Ohio,near Findlay | Know anybody on a fire department? Those thermal cameras to find hot spots in a wall works good. Most of time you can see the wire in the wall. If the wire is open, dead, it will show up dark, colder than the air, insulation in the wall. If you can put a load (space heater) on the wire for a period of time, the wire will show up white, because the load will warm up the wire, just enough heat difference to detect. You can also find drains, water lines too by running hot water a few minutes. Try it, fun. | |
