Subject: RE: Water in fuel.

I  was  told it's the 'process' of  removing the sulphur..  that   added the water.   Most of it is   removed, but not completely.  In any case,   it's  definitely more now than   previously in   the old fuel.   The   water 'pig' that separates  loads of fuel  in the pipeline   isn't helping.

I look at it as  if you could put a  camera in your tank..  that those  ultra small  H20 molecules  are  suspended in the fuel,  so small they can't settle out.   When frozen,  they crystalize  like  suspended  snowflakes, It's like a blizzard in your tank.. on a  microscopic level...  then get sucked up and   plug the filter.       When the filter warms up..  it either drops the whole water into the  trap, or it's sucked  straight into the  injection pump.

That's  why I asked if you had a  recent 'thaw'... or maybe you ran the tractor enough to warm up the fuel,  which  dropped that  nice  sample out of  it's  frozen state.
