Schlegel Farms, Hagerstown Indiana | A NH 77 was the first implement that I ever pulled behind a tractor by myself.
My dad was in a neighborhood baleing ring that consisted of 5 other neighbors. One day when one of the fellows was sick another of the guys said "put the kid on the tractor"....and I was in like flint".
They figured that with someone on the wagon if something went wrong they could get up there and stop the tractor.
The tractor was a Farmall "MTA", and I was around 7 years old. |
