north-central Indiana west of Fulton | The soil finisher was the latest and greatest here 20 or more years ago....everyone traded their field cultivator on one. We had a disk and a 45 IH field cultivator . Decided to stay with that 2 pass system because we would have to go smaller in a finisher to pull it. Also thought weed control would be a little better and of course the dollars needed to trade. Ran the same disk and field cultivator for 38 years before getting a used vertical tillage tool a couple years ago. I suggest stay with what you are doing. |
