Northern Ohio | Five or six years ago I thought the same thing, went that route, went with a Krause. Found that I still needed to size residue with a double disk. I did not save any trips across the field. I did have to invest more more money because the Krause finish tool was more money than the field cultivator I had at the time. I ended up selling the Krause finish tool and bought a nice DMI field cultivator for near the same money.
