SW Illinois | i have a '14 model, double cab 2wd. Been a good truck so far, still pretty new though with only 55,000 on it. can get 24 on the interstate if i try. average is 20-21 for daily use. Plenty of acceleration when you need it. MPG will drop significantly when towing.
It does fine for everything i would want to use a 1/2 ton for. heaviest it pulls is our 630F bean heads. Does it as well as our 3/4 ton.
If you need a bigger motor for power and towing, you probably need a 3/4 ton. | |
