I'd be, like above, all over that charger, what is its resistance?

Then I'd be all over that respectacle, from neutral to ground, "hot" to ground...side bus bar, back, etc...

I am curious about 5 screws loosened...does this piggy back another one? Receptacle, Switch?

I have plugged in motors into extension cords (think bin unload), and it burn/spark the male ends nearly off...severely dirty connections on the female cord or male plug would be the only culprit.

Get a Leviton, and put in the wall, and trash the charger...you can never trust it.
