Marion,ks

Went to Wichita Ks this afternoon , the late Oct-Nov. planted wheat is going to take a miracle to amount to much. There are lots of mudholes ,never planted acres in fields  considered planted to ever get respectable whole field averages. If we have good  conditions this spring a lot of those entire fields will be planted to something different. Wheat acres around here are just going to get smaller for this year.  My Sept first of Oct , planted wheat looks fine just to wet to topdress fert. or spray but have time for that yet but I doubt people are going to very anxious to spend more money on the later planted wheat. Our  wheat production problems in central Kansas may not affect prices but there is going to be a lot less wheat produced in my area in 2019.
