| Building fence is a UTV job, but you aren't going to get cattle back to the barn with a UTV like you will an ATV esp if you have a woods. We have 2 Kodiak 450s and they are much faster and more nimble than the Ranger 1000. 4 wheelers are horses, you hop on and go on a mission. That said the Ranger has more miles on it in the last 4 months than both atvs got all last year. The UTVs are fun to joy ride on. Grab a cooler and cruise. The 4 wheelers are fun to go out with the guys and play in the woods or run and check irrigation systems quick.
I would not own a gator, "annoyingly loud." Buy the mule and get a cheap 4 wheeler (old Honda foreman rancher or Yamaha Big bear Kodiak etc) or borrow a neighbors if you need to chase cows. | |
