Subject: Setting up guidance lines

Western New York
Trying to find a way to standardize our guidance for year to year use. Currently run Trimble products with RTK. normally the person doing the strip tilling with make the ab lines and the headland lines for a field. The planter will download those lines and follow for planting. Works good except we get some inexperienced operators who don't always strip build between last years rows or make the straight line wrong and end up with a lot of short rows. How are guys creating these lines before field operations so that the lines are already created for the operators? Would like to be able to offset from these lines in the future. Do we need to drive each field with a tractor? Do it from a computer?
