| Yep , that one was the classic, TV brought it to the everyday living room...
I used to be a volunteer pit and track fireman at Michigan Intl Speedway in the late 80's-90's and early 00's. Used to see a scuffell every once in a while.
Sr Earnhardt had Rusty Wallace by the throat one late Saturday afternoon, after Wallace, spun Sr's car in late practice.
Dick Trickle and Jimmy Spencer used to go at it....bunch of others.....then came Tony Stewart and the Busch bros....
NASCAR was a LOT more fun to work for than the Indy cars....They used to have the IROC races too, those got to be fun to watch too, now with all the regulations, it seems all of NASCAR is a IROC race.
Used to go to church service in the garage area on Sunday mornings, never knew who you would be sitting next to....I have sat by Ricky Rudd, the Waltrips, Bill Weber ( ESPN ), many more....
