Subject: RE: VSET on my 7300 planter

NE Nebraska
Here are 2 screenshots from FieldView summary reports. 2016 report was Deere standard vacuum meter hydraulic drive with proshafts and meticulous vacuum changes based on meter performance. Skips increase pressure, doubles decrease. 2016 also had pneumatic air bag downforce with the same meticulous adjustments.
2018 was the second year the planter had been upgraded to vset, vdrive, delta force.

This is the best performing field I got manually in 2016. Most fields I couldn’t get dialed in that good. It can be done but it’s work plus it depends on the seed and field conditions. With vset, almost all the fields are that good and in most cases I change vacuum a couple times a day.
