WCMO | I've only really started paying attention to different basis levels at different locations in the last 2-3 since we've had a semi so I'm getting more familiar with what's good and what's not.
You nailed the locations I've been looking at, but this contract is currently with Ray Carroll and most likely will be delivered to Carrollton. Malta Bend is usually within a nickel of Carrollton, but I also get a dividend from Carrollton which usually makes it even or a bit better. I know co-ops and dividends aren't popular on this site, but they seem to work for us. Tyson has had better basis bids further months out, but I've heard horror stories on the time it takes to deliver there vs the ethanol plants. Just a two man show here. | |
