Missouri | If you want to deliver in July, go ahead and roll to July for your 15 1/2 cents. You are correct that your basis should continue to improve and you'll capture that. Sounds like they're just trying to pull the corn right now. It will take a couple years and the crop in your area to understand your market and basis. I've got my corn to deliver to ethanol plant for July but basis not set yet, July is currently zero basis, it'll get better, I'll probably have chance at plus 10-20 cents.
Edit: Start following Carrollton, Malta Bend ethanol plants and Tyson Sedalia Mill. I'd be surprised if it wouldn't be better, but you might know better.
