It's been years ago, but we were trading in our 4955 for an 8430. The 4955 never made it to the dealership, salesman sent some interested buyers to come look at it, then came and got it a few days later. Wasn't a year or 2 later we sold our 4455 to a neighbor when we bought our 8230. Then we regretted getting rid of the 4455, could have had some use for it yet.
We had several leave that way and have bought several that way as well. A real good salesman has a home for a trade in before it ever sees the lot.
