| I guess I was not implying that it would the op said nothing of codes only that the check engine light was on. In my experience unhooking the cables worked for resetting the check engine light in the three silverados I have owned in the past. One it came back on in a short amount of time, I had the dealer check it then, fuel vent was plugged. The other two it took over a year, fuel vents again. Dusty gravel roads I guess. | |
