8122 is significantly wider going down the road. Also, 8122 has less clearance in the field if you find a soft spot in the field and need to wiggle out. I am talking about the distance from the bottom of the seed tubes in your raised planter and the ground. 8122 takes up less space in the shed. 8122 will not have much horizontal flex aside from what the row unit will do. Both should plant as well.
