The silage unlocks the genetic potential and pushes beyond normal performance.
This bull's sire line is not far from being bred for a low input grass type system. Charlo is in the top 3% of the breed for $EN with below average growth epds and from OCC blood. The same exact OCC blood that is in many bulls that are drooled over by the very moderate, low input, grass only portion of the industry.
A lot of people will not use this bull because the daughters could be too small for them under a normal operations inputs.
Should add that some people may actually use him to add to their moderate program.
