Compare the utility savings to the price difference in insulation types and you will answer your own question. In the last 20 years have utility costs gone up or down. The best predictor of the future is the past. Closed cell foam will greatly add to the strength of a metal building, virtually eliminating any potential for hail damage. Fiberglass in metal building walls still allows for considerable condensation which degrades the fiberglass over time. Mice love running up the channels between the metal and insulation. Snakes then go after the mice. If you have ever torn down a building like that you would see what I am talking about. Think about the seams on the metal. If the gap is only .030 thick, if you figure how many feet of seams are in that building, the result is a huge open hole for air to move through. Spray foam on the interior walls and paint with a high quality gloss white house paint and your interior is done. No cost for materials to finish the inside like you would with fiberglass. Subtract that cost from the foam application. I worked as a helper for a local spray foam contractor for a few years and learned the pros and cons on many jobs.

No need to add - this sums it all up
