North Central Iowa
Sure 20ft sidewalls would give you more room. The bottom of my beam is 15ft. I have 18ft sidewalls. My limiting factor was my tube heater. If that wasn't there I could have had it up another 1 1/2 ft, ceiling fans next obstacle.
That pic shows taking motor out of 1660. Had enough lifting height and was easy to turn sideways and right off the back. My 2388 would be just as easy. You have to take the same stuff off to remove engine basically going straight up or coming off the back.
The engine fits between the hand rails on back.

I had to make a few trips up and down, but I took the engine out by myself. Since one end of gantry is a pivot, it is easier to control the movement of object your lifting. Also it doesn't sag like a jib crane and item doesn't keep rolling on trolley.
I could easily lift cabs off tractors, it jus takes the right lifting/leveling bars.

Sure is easy handling duals too! Like having the hoist. Back saver!
