Subject: RE: Adoption

NC Indiana
we grafted a dairy cross on a cow a couple years ago. it took 4-5 days of putting her in the chute and hooking them up twice a day. had to tie her legs down first couple of times. she then jumped the gate to go join the herd the last day and stood there bawling at the calf to follow her. we let him out and off they went. if you can find a beef calf I would go that way as dairy and dairy cross are not worth much. probably find another bred cow cheaper than all the hassle, but this one was one of my daughters pets so she put in the work and time.
