Looking to be a purchasing a sprayer this year to do my own application.
Corn and beans. Round up on the corn. Beans round up, xtend, and new to me liberty( small amount this year) so will be doing some pre emerge also.
Thinking 60ft will be more than enough for my operation. No gps( for now)
Budget 6-8k
Will be spraying 7110 CIH
Ground is 15 mile radius of the farm.
Did dicamba certification already.
Hardi dealer bout hour way.
Questions I have for now.. pto pump or hyd drive? Tip/nozzle selection/ options? And advice on a good sprayer, lot of used ones around what to look for? What to stay away from? One not to far away caught my eye, top air, 60ft,1000 gal tank tall tire, and redux nozzles it says in the add? Tia
Not much cost difference between 60 and 90. I prefer hydraulic pump over PTO. Most use common parts so be sure the one you buy is like that, hardi is different. Nozzles will depend on herbicide and GPA/pressure. |
