East Central, Nebraska
I used dual boot kinze sensors. my planter came from kinze with standard muxbus sensors, a couple years ago I found a guy on here that gave me a pretty good deal on the dual boot sensors. I ran them for a year and then determined wave visions were a good investment.

I see your point on getting out and checking but after I changed the singulator on the meter it appeared better on the monitor so thought I won. typically when a sensor gets dirty it does exactly what your saying. it 'cries wolf' though it is planting great.

I agree with you that it is extremely hard to justify going from standard sensors of any kind to wave visions especially the way I did it but as we have debated before I have seen some definite pluses to going to the wave visions, and I am a long ways from being precision plantings biggest fan.
