Missouri | The PMM will not do advanced seed monitoring, but the sensors are generally more accurate than dickey-johns. I generally recommend to use whatever sensors you've already got. The difference between the two monitor systems is about a wash. If you've got a basic box hopper planter, either system is good. If you've got an optioned up planter (bulk-fill, vacuum, bulk fill scales, etc.) then the PMM has the advantage for being able to monitor those planter functions in addition to just seed tubes.
If you decide the PMM route, I have a used one I'd trade for a used STMM. | |
