Subject: RE: Ez boom planter control

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I don't understand your question. The clutches disengage based on location not whether the planter is moving or not. The systems create a coverage map and constantly consults that map to decide if an area has been planted already and if so they will disengage the appropriate section. This auto swath section control can be made inactive if you desire.

Possibly you are thinking of hydraulic drive which is a different situation.

EZ-Boom was first created for working with sprayers for section control and also rate control. Rate control was optional. At first a relay section box was needed to reverse the logic for the sections on a planter since a sprayer needs electricity to turn a section ON and a planter uses electricity to turn a section OFF. Later this choice was available within the menu system.
