Email dko about his precision software ideas. Basically utilizing the full power of geodata, which is data where location/graphical interface/interpretation are used.
You can see all over this website. There are a bunch of big data companies and none of them have quite figured out how to solve a farmer’s needs so everyone keeps asking who has a good idea for a data service.
Some want to scoop up your geodata into a bundle, but don’t offer any in-depth or much useful processing.
Some want you to enter everything into spreadsheet/database, or extract a single database entry from your entire geodata record, and do yet more basic database sorts and queries.
Other than that, handheld PPP (precise point positioning) would be nifty. Basically what Trimble RTX is, I think. You need a lot of processor in a small size, and some nifty algorithms
Straightforward/cheap soil sampling app. Could use a tablet.
