I have a pair of '72 International Loadstar 1800 tandem trucks with air brakes. One is a twin screw with a 5+4 trans setup. the other is a tag axle with a 5-speed trans and a 2-speed axle. Rarely ever have to work on the brakes. Hyd brakes on trucks that sit most of the year seem to be a constant battle, and don't stop as good, in my opinion. Patrick
