If you want to see wind erosion use a roller or what you would call a dust bowl machine. We had one guy that thought it worked so good on his corn stalks that he rolled where he had beans last year and his road ditches were level full of dirt the county had to push the dirt out filled all the intakes up.
When a few neighbors did it on where there was corn the corn residue piled up in ditches and along line fences. You would loose 20 feet of crop where the residue was 2 to 3 feet deep.

Maybe it works where the wind doesn’t blow but not around here.
