| The poor margin environment continues due to changes made by illegal waivers from the Pruitt Reign at EPA of the Trump administration.
Consequently domestic production is down about 1.2% for the marketing year to date (since 9/1/18) and was especially hard hit by seasonal shutdown and weather this past week which the number came in at pathetic 967 k bbls.
As mentioned earlier domestic blended is down.. 1.5% despite the Trump administrations firing of Pruitt and promises of e-15.. of which.. no announcement has been made.. Still Coming?!?
Ethanol stocks are up 6.1% yoy.. Implied exports have softened.. while actual reported exports ( 2 months behind) are up 29.4% The blend rate is up 1.4% to an average of 9.93% while higher gasoline prices have hindered gasoline sales which are down 0.7%
The Trump administration needs to make good on it's higher ethanol blends promise.. No mention of ethanol was made during the State of the Union speech.. despite mention of America's increased domestic energy production OF WHICH ETHANOL has played a MAJOR ROLE!!!
