E. CO, exactly half way between NE and OK | I think your brake shop is right. I think you have Rockwell-Standard Stopmaster Wedge brake that they have removed the air brake chamber and replaced it with a hydraulic brake cylinder. I think it is threaded and the small brake cylinder threads into the large wedge cylinder, it isn't welded. See if you can find some numbers cast into the small hyd cylinder. It has a lock nut that holds them together. |
