Northwest Iowa | Completely understand that yield depends on where the break even ends up but if a guy has crop insurance it is not hard to figure out where an area of break even is. when your wanting to market ahead for this falls delivery plug in different yield scenarios, or worst case scenario (insurance level x aph), that give you a start. I’m a young producer if I would wait until I know my break even to market I would be out of business by now. | |
