northeast ohio | What's your budget? If you buy the right components there is little risk because the resale value will be there if the project fails.
You should be able to use FieldIQ with a basic section module to trigger relay(s). If you are controlling something that will also be using significant 12v power then go with a full FieldIQ to hitch harness. If not, then a Raven replacement kit like the left photo in the listing below would be a simple in cab setup. The module in this setup is both Rate and Section is more than you need, but will work fine.
If you would buy it or one like it, I would be interested in trading you a section only module plus a little cash. I also have a piece of Raven harness that can be used to power the module and breakout the section wire(s) to the relays OR a four relay setup for sale in classifieds.
