Subject: Hot water baseboard heat and house remodel

banks of the libhart creek
Long question. We are 100% gutting our old farmhouse and we have baseboard heaters. I have no indoor furnace just outside wood burner piped in to a water to water heat exchanger. We are looking at panel type radiator instead of base board. Does any one have experience in this can we just plumb up the zones the way they were to each room and buy panels instead of baseboards. I have 3 zones now with only one circulator pump. 2 on first floor and 1 upstairs. Also it's all copper now but my contractor wants to use pex. What I read is it's got to be oxygen barrier pex. Any other words of advice. Thanks jeff
