To start with This isn't my area. Usually I sell corn through out the year and hope to get a good average , I got what I thought was a good price and sold my last bin full (about 120k BU). If I wanted to buy a call so that I could have some gain if the market moves up on a weather scare this summer what would be the best way to do this. Not sure I'm going to do it but would like to get my head wrapped around it better. Thanks

I would hire a respectable marketing firm. If you are dealing with several hundred thousand bushels, you could easily pickup another 15-20 cents. You wont waste much time checking or worrying about the markets.
