I think the market is a lot of moving parts, therefore analyzing the close the day after a news announcement is only one part of that. No analysis in price movement during the day? Volumes? Physical sales? Previous weeks' price action? I'd say you're focusing on what you want to focus on. Not much of a surprise really.
