| I used to be an elevator guy and still know a lot of elevator guys. No push back at all. That's exactly how it works. If you want to say basis is more related to spreads, look at a spreads chart vs the straight futures. They move inversely. Any time there is a big move in the market (whether a day or a week long), I start watching the spreads really closely. If it doesn't move much, it's not going to stay. If it starts to really tighten you have a real move. Basis is the same. | |
