Mark I just want you to see my perspective on why this is horrible advice to come from a broker. You just suggested to these guys to buy beans when their portfolios are likely 70,80,90,100% long on their 19’ crop and likely a great deal long on their 18’. Why not suggest some risk protection measures at this point. Maybe some NCSD soy options, IV is low and they re a decent value. Maybe move some risk off the table with a sell order or multi legged options trade.
It was just a thought.. I'm not a broker anymore. It had baby risk with it, so if anyone followed the recommendation... worst case scenario they lose 4.5 cents which still hasn't happen. I work with guys making case sales and I have orders to sell 9.30, 9.40, 9.45 March which were all put in last night(if possible)
Let me follow up my trade idea with this.... move your stop to entry point and exit with 10+ gain.
