Given that it was the Chinese minister who made the announcement and he probably had a pretty good idea that he was going to make the announcement before he even came to Washington. And it's most probably the government grain company is going to do the buying, then it's a pretty good assumption that the grain company already knew about the announcement and would have take the necessary precautions to be hedged ahead.
It will be interesting to see whether this announcement can really spark a rally or not.
We are almost in the situation now that every bushel the Chinese buy from us is a bushel they leave to Brazil's stocks. It's almost the opposite of the situation last summer.
