Northwest Iowa
Sounds about like crop insurance silage appraisals vs what the rest of the field does or what the rest of the farms on the farm does. Have had them be 50 to 75 bushel off in August/September and than the Farmer is pissed with me (I sell seed) than they get to October and they have very good yields putting on 50 to 75 bushel. Yes i have had customers appraisals be that far off. Absolutely stunning on how they do it and how they come to their numbers. Sorry for the rant and getting off topic but this stuff happens way to much.
