chinband - 1/30/2 019 11:51 If motors are like water, it will cool off faster. Hot water will freeze before cold water. Rich That myth has been disproven a million times. Hot water will lose heat faster at first since there is more of a temperature gradient but it will not reach the freezing point faster than water that is colder to start with. If you have an experiment with two identical amounts of water to begin with but at different temperatures in an non pressure controlled environment (not under pressure), the hot water sample may also end up with less mass once it freezes also since more will evaporate before it reaches the freezing point. |
