Subject: RE: Trimble CFX 750 Autopilot to Raven SCS-660

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I had a CFX 750 and a Nav II for steering in a Deere 8310. It was possible to get speed from the system into a Raven controller such as a 440, 450, 460, 660 etc.

According to my notes Pin 2 of Port A can produce a radar like output signal and goes to the 6 O'Clock position in the Raven speed connector. Ground may be necessary also which can come off of Pin 10 again off the Port A connector. As I recall the Nav II was plugged into Port B so Port A was available. Some but not all pins have the same purpose on Ports A and B.

It is necessary to go into the CFX-750 menu and turn the radar signal ON. I used 57 HZ which meant that the Raven speed cal was SP2 and something in the 600-700 range. If the speed works but is incorrect, the speed cal number in the Raven can be tweaked to get the speed on the Raven to agree with the 750's reading.
