Subject: Tariffs--- the hidden tax on consumers

sw ontario
Canada reported they have collected $839M in Tariff's on aluminum & steel so far ,but would drop the tariff immediately if US pulls there's. At our annual Pork Producer meeting we were told a 750 F-F swine farm the trade issues has cost it $265,000 cdn.....Really looks like a hidden tax on business & consumers with the gov't coffers benefiting..........I have no idea how much US has collected but it must be a lot , Any idea hoiw much the US softwood tariffs add to price of homes/buildings?
