Subject: Unfiling an HST Return in QuickBooks Pro (For Canada)

Ripley, Ontario Canada
I was working on my 2018 books in QuickBooks Pro and I was trying to get it to recognize my 2017 HST Return, and I decided I hadn't actually filed it in Quickbooks, just taken the data, printed it and filed online through Revenue Canada. Well I filled "last years return" in QuickBooks not thinking we are now in 2019, and it filed the 2018 return and has no 2017 return, and now my tax credits for 2018 show as 0 even though I have 4 months of expenses in. I can't find a way to unfile the tax return even though you can reverse just about everything else in Quick books.

I am not sure how to fix this. My only apparent option appears to be start a new company and re enter the first 4 months of 2018 to get things to be right. Is there any other option? The income statements are right, just the tax stuff messed up, but that is important enough to do over.
