North Dakota, USA | We have one that holds about 14000 gallons. We just fill it with a garden hose using our rural water so it adds $60-70 to the bill. The last couple years I have given up on testing the water myself, we have a pool and hot tub place about 20 miles away so I take samples in every one to two weeks and they test it and recommend what it needs. The chemicals for the summer are probably another $200 or so, but at least the water has stayed clean and clear. I had problems when using the test kits and it turned green on me a couple times.
My kids are getting older now so I think I only have one or two more years of using it. They enjoy it and I go in with them once and a while but I am looking forward to not having it anymore. Almost like when they outgrew car seats.
