Yes. I've been thinking this for years. A couple of decades ago when I was growing square cubes came out of our ice maker. Those were much nicer. I don't know why home ice makers went to rounded "cubes" but I think they suck. I suppose they're easier for the freezer to make or the ice maker costs less or something.
