Central Illinois
I may be in the minority, but I actually prefer to have the two large displays in the cab. I believe it makes it easier to diagnose if there is a problem. I also have more planter diagnostic information visible without having to switch screens all the time. I have run a FmX with a Pro 6/700 for planter for nine years now with minimal problems. Just feed the corrected GPS out of the Nav to the Pro 600.

I prefer the Trimble guidance management to the Pro 6/700. If you are not trying to run both guidance and planter monitoring the Pro600 will do a decent job (I know not as nice as the 700's) as a planter monitor.

You already have most everything you need now without having to go through the cost and effort of buying/selling/reprogramming/etc. for really the only benefit of reducing one screen with no performance improvement. In my opinion that is not worth it for what I consider a downgrade.
