Cedar Rapids, Iowa | NovAtel doesn't have any receiver with an integrated battery. They all have a pretty wide input voltage range, so your battery options are pretty open. Instead of being tied to some proprietary battery, you can use whatever battery you want.
I had been working on a pole-mount for the 6500 / Smart6-L with a Bluetooth-to-serial adapter and a Milwaukee M18 battery to power it, but with the size change from the 6500 to 7500, I haven't decided if the project is still worth pursuing.
Once you can connect via Bluetooth, then you can use an Android device and some app to do data collection. The app I like best for this is Mapit GIS.
